Flanagan and Sun is a renewable energy company that has proudly served Peterborough and the Kawartha Lakes region since 2004, helping homeowners and businesses reduce their environmental impact through clean energy solutions.

The company is owned and operated by Sean Flanagan, a certified photovoltaic technician with nearly two decades of hands-on experience in the solar industry. Sean was the very first person in Canada to graduate from the Photovoltaic Technician Training Program, a specialized course offered jointly by Seneca College and the Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA).

His pioneering achievement set the stage for Flanagan and Sun to become a trusted name in renewable energy across the region. In May 2011, Sean’s hard work, integrity, and dedication to sustainability earned him the County of Peterborough Recognition Award in the Environmental Recognition category. This award highlighted not only his technical expertise but also his commitment to making a lasting positive impact on the community and the environment.
